Money for your old books.

If you're a regular reader you'll know I've been doing a lot of decluttering to get rid of the excess stuff in my life. When I found out about Campus Book Rentals, I thought what a brilliant idea. Instead of buying heaps of textbooks and ending up with shelves full of them, why not rent them? I finished uni 3 years ago and haven't touched so many of my textbooks and don't think I ever will again. I wish a site like Campus Book Rentalsexisted in Australia when I was at uni! The photo above shows my bookshelves but I have to confess that the cupboard is wide enough to hold a row of uni textbooks behind the pretty books and they are also clogging up the draws...

But you know what's even better than not ending up with piles of books? Getting money for your old textbooks :) www.campusbookrentals.com has this great program at the moment called Rent Back. Rent Back is a new initiative that allows students to rent the textbooks they own - to other students... which is great because it makes them 2-4x more money compared to what they'd make through buyback options! (selling their books back at the end of the semester) Isn't that awesome?  If you go on to Rentback.com, you can watch the demonstration video to see how it works.I love it!
Less clutter, more money. That totally works for me.
Speaking of books, that's probably the next thing I need to tackle on my 210 days of decluttering.
